Your policy with TheGuarantors will be activated once you have completed two essential steps: signing the contract and making the payment. You may sign before completing payment.
When do I need to sign my contract?
To ensure a smooth process, we recommend completing your signature within 48 hours of receiving your contract or prior to signing your lease. It's important to note that different buildings may have their own timelines for receiving confirmation of your payment and signature from TheGuarantors, so we suggest that you check with the leasing team of your specific building for their requirements.
By signing your contract within the recommended time frame, you help ensure that all parties involved are aware of the agreement and can address any potential issues before your move-in date.
Can I sign my contract before I'm ready to pay?
Absolutely. We understand that financial arrangements may take time, and we want to accommodate your needs. Once you have received the contract, you are welcome to sign it at any time.
By allowing you to sign the contract in advance, we aim to streamline the process and ensure that you have ample time to review and understand the terms and conditions. This way, you can complete this step at your convenience, without feeling rushed or pressured.
Is my policy activated once I’ve signed the contract?
Your policy with TheGuarantors will be activated once you have completed two essential steps: signing the contract and making the payment. Signing the contract alone does not activate the policy; both the signing and payment are necessary to initiate coverage.
Upon the completion of these steps, we will promptly notify the building's leasing team. Additionally, we will provide them with a copy of your bond to ensure that all relevant parties are informed about the activation of your coverage.
It's important to fulfill both the signing and payment requirements as soon as possible to ensure a seamless transition and the activation of your policy. By doing so, you can have peace of mind knowing that your policy is in effect and you are protected as outlined in the terms and conditions.
