My building says I don’t need to renew my coverage. How can I opt out of renewing?

To opt out of renewing your coverage, your landlord must confirm to us via email that they will not require coverage.

To opt out of renewing your Rent Coverage with TheGuarantors, your landlord must confirm to us in writing that they will not require coverage to be in place for your renewal lease.

Please ask your landlord to email us confirming that you have qualified for your renewal lease without TheGuarantors and that they will not require Rent Coverage for renewal. Once we receive this confirmation from your landlord, we will cancel your renewal application.

If you are eligible to receive a refund, our Billing team will contact you via email after your renewal application has been canceled to initiate the refund process.
